Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has provided an update on midfielder Wilfred Ndidi following his safe return from an unexpected 13-hour ordeal in Libya, where the Nigerian national team was stranded without food and internet. Despite the disruption, Ndidi, who has started all seven of Leicester’s Premier League games this season, returned to England and resumed training without any issues. Cooper expressed relief, stating that everyone was in close contact with the 27-year-old during the incident. He noted that Ndidi is in good physical and mental shape, emphasizing that the player was eager to return to normalcy through training. Cooper confirmed that Ndidi is ready for the weekend’s match, having already contributed four assists this season.
