London City Lionesses have completed the signing of Nigerian winger Rofiat Imuran on a three-year contract. The 20-year-old joins the English Women’s Championship side on a free transfer after her contract with French club Stade de Reims expired. Imuran, who was instrumental in Reims’ top-six finishes in D1 Arkema, brings experience and dynamism as the Lionesses push for promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL).
Imuran, excited about the move, stated, “I’m looking forward to helping the team on the pitch. The coach’s project and the challenge drew me here.”
The Nigerian international represented her country in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. London City Lionesses are eager to see her impact ahead of their upcoming clash with Charlton Athletic.
