Man Utd’s Maxi Oyedele Still Eligible for Nigeria Despite Competitive Debut for Poland

Manchester United academy graduate Maxi Oyedele made his competitive debut for Poland in a 3-1 UEFA Nations League loss to Portugal, yet he remains eligible to represent Nigeria. The 19-year-old midfielder, born to a Nigerian father and Polish mother, is not cap-tied to Poland under FIFA rules. He can still switch allegiance to the Super Eagles unless he makes three more appearances for Poland before turning 21. Oyedele’s father revealed that Maxi chose Poland due to a stronger connection to the country, but his future in international football remains open.
