Prominent Ghanaian sports administrator and President of the Ghana Table Tennis Federation, Mawuko Afadzinu, has been elected as the Executive Vice President (Marketing) of the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF). In a closely contested election during the ATTF’s congress in Addis Ababa on October 15, Afadzinu won 22 votes against Uganda’s Robert Jjagwe’s 18.
Renowned for his brand transformation skills, Afadzinu aims to rebrand the ATTF into a globally recognized, sustainable organization, driving growth and investment in table tennis across Africa. He emphasized the role of sports in fostering youth empowerment, community development, and creating opportunities for partnerships across the continent.
