Mrs. Joyce Mahama Retained as President of WOSPAG

The Women in Sports Association of Ghana (WOSPAG) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) via Zoom and re-elected its executives to lead the association for the next four years.

Mrs. Joyce Mahama, who previously served as president, was re-elected unopposed alongside her team. The elected officers include Joyce Mahama as President, Gloria King as Vice President, Agnes Abefe as Secretary General, Jannah Benine as Treasurer, and Patience Adongo as Organizing Secretary. The Executive Members are Grace Assiam, Christina Dodoo, and Elizabeth King.

The AGM and election confirmation were conducted on September 13th and 19th, 2024, for both National and Greater Accra members at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Mrs. Mahama acknowledged the challenges ahead but expressed her commitment to serving the nation. She also called on companies and the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) to support WOSPAG’s programs and activities.
