Osimhen Prioritizes Galatasaray Victory Over Scoring in Derby Against Beşiktaş

Galatasaray’s new star striker, Victor Osimhen, has made it clear that winning is his top priority as he prepares for the highly anticipated derby against Beşiktaş. Since joining Galatasaray last month, Osimhen has been on fire, contributing to every game he’s played with three goals and five assists across six appearances. His latest feat, an overhead kick from 2.32 meters in a 3-0 win over Antalyaspor, ranks him just behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for the highest-scoring bicycle kick.

Speaking to Beyaz TV, the 25-year-old Nigerian forward emphasized his focus on securing three points rather than individual achievements: “I don’t care whether I score against Beşiktaş or not. I just want to win. The team wants to win, too. I think we are ready.”
