Victor Osimhen continued his strong form with Galatasaray by scoring in their 2-1 victory against arch-rivals Beşiktaş at RAMS Park. The Lions took an early lead in the 13th minute as Davinson Sánchez nodded in Gabriel Sara’s free kick. Osimhen missed a chance to double the score in the 38th minute but redeemed himself in the 67th, rising above his marker to powerfully head home Galatasaray’s second. This marked the first time since Opta’s 1995/1996 data collection that Galatasaray netted two headed goals against Beşiktaş in a Süper Lig fixture. Osimhen, who was substituted in the 82nd minute, now boasts four goals and four assists in his Galatasaray appearances.
