Real Madrid Targets Jeremie Frimpong as Replacement for Injured Dani Carvajal

Real Madrid is eyeing Bayer Leverkusen’s Dutch-born Ghanaian defender, Jeremie Frimpong, as a potential replacement for their injured right-back, Dani Carvajal, who is out with a long-term cruciate ligament injury. Frimpong, who is under contract with Leverkusen until 2028, was previously on Madrid’s radar but now has become a top target for the winter transfer window. Leverkusen holds the advantage in negotiations, as no release clause is active until summer 2025.
