Troy Nyoni, the 16-year-old sensation who made headlines with his FA Cup debut for Liverpool, has shocked Zimbabwean fans by rejecting their support.

In a recent statement, Nyoni, born in England to African parents, said, “I am from England, I am from Europe. I do not know how Zimbabwe looks like. I have never been there and I have no links with Zimbabwe.”
