Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has revealed his deep affection for Kano Pillars as the reason for returning to the Nigerian Premier League club after his European journey. Following a contract termination with Bulgarian side Levski Sofia in 2023, Abdullahi, 31, opted to rejoin the club where his career began. He expressed pride in playing for Kano Pillars, describing it as “home” and a place that consistently supported him during his time in Europe. Abdullahi looks forward to making his debut as Kano Pillars prepare for their next game against Akwa United.
