Solomon Asante Provides Key Assist in Las Vegas Lights FC’s 3-0 Win Over Birmingham Legion

Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante made a significant impact in Las Vegas Lights FC’s 3-0 victory over Birmingham Legion FC in the USL Championship. Despite starting the match on the bench, the 34-year-old came on as a substitute in the 79th minute and quickly influenced the game.

Las Vegas Lights took an early lead in the 18th minute through Joe Gyau, maintaining control with 56% possession. Asante’s moment came in the 87th minute when he provided a pinpoint assist to Coleman Gannon, who doubled the lead with a composed finish. Christian Pinzon sealed the win with a third goal in stoppage time.

Las Vegas Lights FC now turn their attention to their next match against Oakland Roots SC on October 19, their final home game of the regular season.
