Spintex Knights Basketball Club co-founder, Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi has disclosed that the club is still grappling with financial challenges despite their successful qualification for the Elite 16 stage of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). In an interview with Citi Sports, Dr. Opoku-Antwi revealed the team is working to settle outstanding payments related to flights and accommodations, including $8,000 owed in Libya. The Knights secured second place in Group B of the West Division, with star player James Amotoe shining, averaging 25.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
