Team Hubes Dance Crew Crowned Winners of Inaugural Ghana DanceSport League 2024

Team Hubes Dance Crew emerged victorious at the first-ever Ghana DanceSport League held on October 5, 2024, during the 10th Ghana Dance Festival at Alliance Francaise d’Accra. They triumphed over United Kings Academy, 4Bent Dance Crew, Asa Academy, Flames Dance Company, and BAS Academy in a series of competitive dance rounds.

The top four teams advanced to the second stage, where Team Hubes defeated 4Bent Dance Crew and United Kings Academy bested Asa Academy to reach the finals. Team Hubes then won the final showdown against United Kings Academy, securing the top prize of 4,000 cedis.

Judges included 1986 World Dance champion Adjetey Sowah, Dr. Terry Bright Ofosu, and Yvonne “Laladzy” Okyere. The event highlighted the growth of DanceSport in Ghana, with founder Robert Klah emphasizing plans to expand the sport and promote it through both professional and amateur leagues.
