Super Eagles stand-in captain William Troost-Ekong has admitted that he isn’t familiar with the current Libya squad ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Troost-Ekong, one of the six survivors from Nigeria’s last encounter with Libya in 2018, noted that both teams have undergone significant changes since then.
While he acknowledges that playing in Africa is always tough, he emphasized the importance of thorough preparation, including video analysis of the Libyan side, to ensure the Super Eagles are ready for the challenge.
