Boxing fans in Madina and surrounding areas can look forward to an exciting evening of bouts as ACE Power Promotions sets up the ring on November 16 at Center Point Mall (Atomic Junction).
Titled “From Street to Champions,” this event aims to discover and develop fresh young talent from the amateur boxing scene to ultimately succeed Ghana’s Black Bombers, many of whom have recently turned professional. ACE Power Promotions General Manager, Mr. Isaac Amankwaah, highlighted the initiative’s goal to inspire youth interested in boxing, with top performers given potential contracts with the promotions company.
The night’s main card will see Holy Dorgbetor defend his IBF Intercontinental Featherweight title against Loko from Benin. Samuel Quaye will square off against Michael Ansah, also known as “One Bullet,” for the National Super Lightweight Title. Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medalist and African Games gold winner Samuel “Ring Warrior” Takyi will face off against Emmanuel Quartey, also known as “Akufo Addo,” a fellow bronze medalist from the Mauritius African Games. Mohammed Aryeetey, or “Golden Star,” another African Games medalist, will also appear on the bill along with other top-tier boxers.
Tickets are available at street2champions.org, starting from 30 GHC and going up to 300 GHC for VIP Ringside. The final press conference and weigh-in will take place on Friday, November 15, at the venue.
