Dessers Propels Rangers to Scottish Cup Final After Gritty Victory Over Motherwell

After a challenging outing against Aberdeen, Cyriel Dessers redeemed himself by scoring for Rangers in a tough 2-1 Scottish Cup semifinal win over Motherwell at Hampden Park. The Nigerian striker, tasked with leading the attack by coach Philippe Clement, leveled the score early in the second half after Andy Halliday had put Motherwell ahead in the 25th minute. Despite a few missed chances, Dessers finally connected with a pass from Connor Barron to net the equalizer. Substitute Nedim Bajrami later sealed the win with an 81st-minute goal, securing Rangers’ spot in the final against rivals Celtic on December 15.
