Ibrahim Sannie Daara, a Senior CAF Media Officer and former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director, has voiced strong support for Kurt Okraku’s leadership of Ghana football. Despite facing significant criticism regarding the decline of both the national teams and domestic leagues under Okraku’s administration, Daara remains confident in the current GFA president’s efforts to revitalize the sport.
In a recent interview, Daara expressed his belief that Okraku is working tirelessly to improve Ghanaian football. “I’ve known Kurt for over 10 years, and I can confirm that when he sets his mind to something, he works hard to achieve it,” Daara shared on Asempa FM. “I am confident that he is doing everything possible to ensure the success of football in Ghana and take it to new heights.”
Despite calls from some fans for Okraku to step down, Daara highlighted the GFA president’s unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the game in the country.
