Kingsley Schindler Joins Black Stars Squad for Final AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Against Angola and Niger

Late Call-Up for Schindler as Ghana Gears Up for Decisive AFCON Matches

Samsunspor defender Kingsley Schindler has received a late call-up to the Black Stars squad for Ghana’s crucial final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger. The 31-year-old, who has made 12 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this season, steps in following a series of withdrawals, including right-back Tariq Lamptey due to injury.

Ghana’s Black Stars will begin preparations in Accra on Monday ahead of their November 15 away match in Luanda against Angola, followed by a home game against Niger at Accra Sports Stadium on November 18. Currently third in Group F with just two points, Ghana faces an uphill battle to qualify, needing wins in both matches and favorable results in other games to secure a place in the tournament.
