Kwadwo Baah Shines as Watford Crush Sheffield Wednesday in Championship

Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Baah put on a stellar display as Watford swept aside Sheffield Wednesday with a resounding 6-2 victory in their Championship showdown at Hillsborough on Saturday. The 21-year-old attacker, who started and played 79 minutes, was instrumental in setting up the game’s opener, delivering an assist to teammate Ryan Porteous in the 29th minute to put Watford in the lead.

Though Sheffield Wednesday responded quickly, leveling through Michael Smith in the 34th minute, Watford regrouped and emerged as the dominant force in the second half. Thomas Ince put the Hornets ahead in the 52nd minute, calmly converting from the penalty spot.

The spotlight then shifted to Ivory Coast’s Vakoun Issouf Bayo, who took command in a breathtaking display of finishing by netting four second-half goals, cementing Watford’s dominance and sealing an emphatic win.

Baah’s influence has been steadily rising this season, with 11 Championship appearances, two goals, and an assist to his name. Having recently signed a contract extension that keeps him with Watford until 2029, Baah continues to establish himself as a vital asset for the club.
