In a crucial step toward their preparation for the 2024 WAFU Zone B U17 Girls’ Cup, the Black Maidens of Ghana were held to a goalless draw by FC Epiphany in a friendly match on Friday, December 6.

The match, played at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, served as an opportunity for the technical team to evaluate the squad’s readiness for the tournament. Both sides displayed impressive skills, creating several goal-scoring opportunities, but neither team could break the deadlock.

This friendly comes shortly after the Black Maidens’ dominant display against Rootz Sistaz FC, which saw them claim an emphatic victory.

The team continues their preparations for the WAFU B U17 Girls’ Cup, set to kick off in Ghana from December 12 to December 26. With the tournament on home soil, expectations remain high for the young stars as they aim to make a mark in the competition.
