Daniel Agyei Shines as Leyton Orient Cruise Past Bristol Rovers

Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei continued his fine form, scoring the final goal in Leyton Orient’s commanding 3-0 victory over Bristol Rovers in a midweek League One clash at Brisbane Road, London.

The hosts started brightly, taking the lead in the 17th minute when defender Daniel Happe struck from close range. Irish U21 international Ollie O’Neill doubled the advantage with a clinical finish in the 29th minute.

Agyei capped off a dominant first-half display, finding the back of the net just before the break to seal the victory for Leyton Orient. The result lifted the London-based side out of the relegation zone, offering a significant morale boost in their battle to climb the table.

The Ghanaian forward has been a key figure for Leyton Orient this season, with eight goals and three assists across all competitions. Just days earlier, he scored a dramatic winner in extra time during the FA Cup triumph against Oldham Athletic.

Bristol Rovers introduced English-born Ghanaian youngster Gatlin O’Donkor in the 66th minute, but the visitors failed to mount a comeback against a determined Leyton Orient side.

The win marks an important step for Leyton Orient as they look to build momentum for the rest of the campaign, with Agyei leading the charge in attack.
