Callum Hudson-Odoi has hailed Nottingham Forest’s loyal supporters after their hard-fought 1-0 Boxing Day victory against Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground.
The English-Ghanaian winger played a pivotal role in Forest’s remarkable win, which was secured by Anthony Elanga’s clinical first-half strike following a swift counter-attack. Hudson-Odoi, who put in an energetic 87-minute shift, made way for Ramon Sosa late in the game as the Reds successfully defended their lead to claim all three points.
Taking to social media, Hudson-Odoi shared his delight: “Hope you all had a great Christmas and an amazing Boxing Day!! COYR.”
The victory continues Forest’s dream Premier League campaign, lifting them to third place in the table ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Ipswich Town on Friday.
Hudson-Odoi, who is eligible to represent Ghana despite his England U17 World Cup triumph, has been an integral part of Forest’s success this season, contributing two goals and an assist in 17 league appearances.
