Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus once again demonstrated his unique celebration style, this time showcasing a symbol of his heritage. After scoring the equaliser for West Ham against Brighton at the London Olympic Stadium, Kudus unveiled a customised elephant stool as part of his iconic “take a seat” celebration, which has become a signature move on the field.
In a post-match interview, Kudus revealed the deeper meaning behind the celebration. “The stool is from Ghana,” he explained. “With a lot of players copying my celebration, I wanted to do something different to highlight my country, Ghana.” He continued, “The elephant is a symbol of traditional authority back home in Ghana, and I wanted to share that with the world.”
The talented former Ajax player, who recently returned from a suspension, has been in impressive form this season, netting three goals and providing an assist in 12 Premier League appearances.
