As the January 2025 transfer window looms, Tanzanian football giants Yanga SC are reportedly eyeing Ghanaian midfielder Seidu Dauda Yussif in a bid to bolster their squad.
The 24-year-old, currently plying his trade with APR FC in Rwanda, has been on the radar of Yanga’s scouts following his stellar performances in key competitions. Dauda played a pivotal role in APR’s journey to the final of the CECAFA Kagame Cup, where they ultimately fell to Zambia’s Red Arrows. Additionally, his impressive displays in the CAF Champions League, despite APR’s elimination by Egypt’s Pyramids FC, further cemented his reputation as a midfield dynamo.
Signed by APR FC from Ghanaian champions Samartex FC for a reported $100,000 in June 2024, Dauda’s value has since skyrocketed. Reports suggest Yanga may need to double or even triple that initial fee to secure the midfielder’s services. The move aligns with Yanga’s ambitions to dominate both domestic and continental competitions.
As the transfer window draws near, Yanga SC fans will be eager to see if the club can land this promising talent who could bring both creativity and stability to their midfield.
