Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo was among the standout performers for AFC Bournemouth as they demolished Nottingham Forest 5-0 in a spectacular Premier League encounter on Saturday.
The match, held at the Vitality Stadium, saw the Cherries dominate their opponents from start to finish. Bournemouth took a narrow 1-0 lead into halftime, thanks to Justin Kluivert’s early strike just nine minutes in. But the real fireworks came after the break.
Burkina Faso’s Dango Ouattara stole the show with a stunning hat-trick. Ouattara first doubled Bournemouth’s advantage in the 55th minute, after a brilliant assist from Kluivert. He wasn’t done there—just six minutes later, he extended the lead again, thanks to a pass from Tyler Adams. Ouattara completed his hat-trick in the 87th minute, making it 4-0.
Semenyo, who played the full 90 minutes, capped off the day with a stoppage-time goal, securing a 5-0 win for his side. The 25-year-old Ghanaian forward has been in fantastic form this season, having scored seven goals and provided three assists in 22 Premier League appearances so far.
In total, Semenyo has scored eight goals and registered four assists across all competitions in 24 games, proving to be an invaluable asset for Bournemouth.
