In the midst of growing transfer speculation, Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah has been included in Olympique Lyon’s squad for their crucial Ligue 1 clash against Toulouse on Saturday, January 18.
The 21-year-old winger, one of six attackers selected by manager Pierre Sage, will aim to make an impact in the Round 18 encounter, despite rumors swirling about a potential move to the Premier League.
According to RMC Sport, Lyon and Everton have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee of around €20 million for Nuamah. The deal is nearing completion, which would see the talented winger make his way to Goodison Park.
Nuamah joined Lyon in August 2023, initially on loan from Molenbeek, another club owned by John Textor. His loan deal was made permanent last summer for €28.5 million, highlighting Lyon’s faith in his abilities.
As the transfer window heats up, all eyes will be on Nuamah—not just for his performance against Toulouse but also for updates on his Premier League dream.
