Everton Eye January Swoop for Ghanaian Winger Ernest Nuamah

In a bid to revitalize their squad for the second half of the campaign, Everton are preparing a January move for Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah. The 21-year-old is poised to become the first signing under the club’s new owners, The Friedkin Group, as they aim to strengthen their faltering side.

Nuamah, who was close to joining Fulham during the summer transfer window before the deal collapsed on deadline day, remains a hot prospect despite a challenging season in France. Under Olympique Lyonnais manager Pierre Sage, the young winger has struggled for consistency, managing just one goal in 16 appearances across all competitions.

Lyon, battling financial difficulties and facing provisional relegation, are under pressure to offload key players to stabilize their finances. Nuamah is among the names reportedly set to depart in January, following Nigerian forward Gift Orban, who recently left the club.

Everton’s struggles in the Premier League this season have seen the club part ways with Sean Dyche. Speculation is rife that David Moyes, who previously worked with Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus, is set to return as manager. Moyes could see Nuamah as a pivotal addition to Everton’s attacking lineup as they look to reverse their fortunes.
