Ghanaian international forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer scored in a second consecutive game for Hamburger SV in their victory over Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga 2.
Konigsdorffer got the second goal to inspire Hamburger’s 3-2 win in matchday 19 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday night.
German forward David Selke scored the opening goal of the match as he put the visitors ahead in the 23rd minute with an assist from Czech midfielder Adam Karabec.
Konigsdorffer was brought on in the 55th minute to replace Selke. Six minutes later, he doubled the advantage for Hamburger with a stunning strike after connecting a pass from Jean-Luc Dompe.
French midfielder Mickael Cuissance pulled one back for Hertha in the 72nd minute before Marten Winkler levelled the scoreline after a few moments.
Hamburger claimed the victory six minutes from time after Kosovan forward Emir Sahiti restored their advantage in the game.
Konigsdorffer is having an impressive season with Hamburger in the Bundesliga 2. He has 9 goals and an assist after 18 appearances.
