Joseph Commey, also known as Jaguar, was the standout winner at the 3rd Boxing Ghana Awards, held at the Idrowhyt Events Centre. The UBO Africa Lightweight Champion and African Games Gold Medalist received multiple accolades, including Boxing Personality of the Year 2024, Best Elite Amateur Boxer, and Most Promising Boxer.

The event celebrated individuals and organizations contributing to the growth of Ghanaian boxing. President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah, commended the initiative and urged continued support to inspire boxers. The Special Guest of Honour, Nii Dr. Adotey Dzata 1, encouraged boxers to train harder, while Hon. Alfred Kotey Ashie, MP for Odododiodoo, congratulated the winners and emphasized the importance of aiming for world titles.
