Alexander Djiku Vows to Fight Till the End in Fenerbahce’s Title Chase

After weeks on the sidelines, Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku made his long-awaited return for Fenerbahce in a crucial Turkish Super Lig encounter against rivals Galatasaray. Stepping onto the pitch as a second-half substitute for Çağlar Söyüncü, Djiku wasted no time in making his presence felt in the high-stakes clash.

The game ended in a tense 0-0 draw, leaving Fenerbahce six points behind table-toppers Galatasaray after 25 rounds. Despite the gap, Djiku remains defiant, rallying his teammates to push for the title until the very end.

“We started well and kept our rhythm. Unfortunately, our goal was disallowed, and we couldn’t find the winning strike. But nothing is over! We will fight until the end and aim for the best results in the coming month,” he declared.

Having made 28 appearances across all competitions this season, Djiku’s return is not only a boost for Fenerbahce but also for Ghana’s Black Stars. With World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar on the horizon, his presence in the squad will be crucial as Ghana looks to solidify its position on the road to the global showpiece.
