Derrick Bonsu Joins Drita FC: Ghanaian Midfielder Set for New Challenge in Kosovo

Kosovo – A New Chapter for Bonsu

Ghanaian midfielder Derrick Bonsu has embarked on a new journey, signing a permanent deal with Kosovan Super League side Drita FC. The club confirmed last week that the 22-year-old defensive midfielder has committed to a contract running until June 2027.

Bonsu, who previously played in Slovakia for top-flight side ŽP Šport Podbrezová before a loan spell at Pohronie, brings stability and grit to Drita’s midfield. His move to Kosovo also reunites him with fellow Ghanaian players Salifu Ibrahim and Hasan Gomba, further strengthening the Ghanaian presence at the club.

With his defensive prowess and ability to dictate play, Bonsu aims to make an immediate impact as Drita push for domestic and continental success.
