Vancouver, Canada – Vancouver Whitecaps FC have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Emmanuel Sabbi from French Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC. The 26-year-old American forward, who is of Ghanaian descent, arrives with high expectations, and the club’s Sporting Director, Axel Schuster, believes he will make a significant impact.
“Emmanuel is an experienced attacking player who has played in one of the best leagues in the world. He’ll add another dimension to our attack, and he is capable of playing on either wing or up top. We’re excited to welcome Emmanuel to our club,” Schuster stated.
Sabbi has signed a contract through 2027, with a club option for 2028. His versatility in attack makes him a valuable addition to a Whitecaps squad looking to improve its offensive firepower in the upcoming MLS season.
As Vancouver prepares for the new campaign, all eyes will be on Sabbi to see how he adapts to MLS and contributes to the team’s success.
