Ibrahim Osman’s New Chapter Under Van Persie at Feyenoord

A Fresh Start Under a Legend

Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman is set to embark on a new journey at Feyenoord under the guidance of Dutch football legend Robin van Persie. The former Manchester United and Arsenal striker has been appointed as Feyenoord’s head coach, replacing Brian Priske after the club’s dip to third place in the Eredivisie.

Van Persie, who signed a contract until 2027, brings a wealth of experience from his playing days, where he dazzled in both the Premier League and Eredivisie. His appointment signals a fresh opportunity for Osman, who has spent much of his loan spell from Brighton and Hove Albion coming off the bench under Priske.

With Van Persie’s arrival, Osman hopes to earn more game time and refine his skills under one of Dutch football’s most prolific strikers. Sunday’s match against Almere City was another substitute appearance for the Ghanaian, but the new era at Feyenoord could see a shift in his role.

For Osman, learning from a coach who netted 46 goals in 122 games for Feyenoord—and won major trophies with Arsenal and Manchester United—could be an invaluable experience in his young career.
