Black Stars Trio Join Stonebwoy for a Night of Music in London

It was a night of music, unity, and celebration as Black Stars players Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku joined Ghanaian music sensation Stonebwoy at his sold-out London concert.

The reggae-dancehall icon, who shares a close bond with Kudus, electrified the UK audience with an unforgettable performance as part of Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations. Among the crowd were Ghanaians in the diaspora, including the Black Stars trio, who came out in full support of their countryman.

After the show, Kudus, Sulemana, and Issahaku spent time with Stonebwoy backstage, congratulating him on his remarkable performance. The moment highlighted the deep connection between Ghana’s football and music scenes.

Kudus will now turn his attention to club duties with West Ham United, preparing for a crucial Premier League clash against Newcastle United—a game Stonebwoy might just attend at the London Olympic Stadium. Sulemana, who featured for Southampton in their recent loss to Liverpool, remains a key player for his club, while Issahaku continues his recovery from injury, aiming for a return next season.

With World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar approaching, Kudus and Sulemana are expected to be part of Otto Addo’s squad, as Ghana looks to take another step toward securing a spot at the global tournament.
