Feyenoord Face Setback as Ibrahim Osman Misses Crucial Inter Milan Clash

Feyenoord’s hopes of overturning a 2-0 deficit against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League have taken a hit, as Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman is set to miss the second leg due to suspension.

Osman, a key figure in Feyenoord’s attacking setup, received a yellow card in the 76th minute of the first-leg clash, leading to an accumulation of bookings that rules him out of the return fixture.

The first leg saw Inter Milan seize control with a composed display. Marcus Thuram broke the deadlock in the 38th minute, latching onto Nicolo Barella’s pinpoint cross. The Italian giants doubled their lead early in the second half, with Lautaro Martinez finishing off a well-crafted pass from Piotr Zielinski in the 50th minute.

With Osman now sidelined, Feyenoord must regroup and find a way to navigate the return leg without one of their brightest attacking threats. The Dutch side faces a daunting challenge at the San Siro, knowing they need a near-perfect performance to keep their Champions League dreams alive.
