Ghana’s Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has confirmed that President John Dramani Mahama is fully backing the budget for the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Speaking after attending the team’s training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, Adams emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring the national team has the necessary resources to succeed.

“We will support whatever we have to do, and the president is supporting us to ensure we take care of the necessary things,” Adams stated.
