Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey Knocks Out Lukman Akinolugbade in Round 5 on ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ Bill

In an electrifying Ghana vs. Nigeria boxing showdown at the Hathiramani Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday, Ghanaian boxer Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey, also known as ‘Lopez,’ delivered a dominant performance, securing a fifth-round knockout victory over Nigeria’s Lukman Akinolugbade on the ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ bill, organized by Wisdom Boxing Promotions.

The thrilling main event left fans satisfied as it combined high-energy boxing with art and culture. Allotey, clad in yellow, green, and red, maintained control from the first round, outclassing Akinolugbade, who wore white and black sparkling shorts. With this win, Allotey remains undefeated in 10 professional fights and has set his sights on African, Commonwealth, and world titles.

Guided by award-winning coach Dr. Ofori Asare of Wisdom Boxing Gym, Allotey’s rise to stardom was foreseen by Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) president Abraham Neequaye.
