Terry Yegbe’s meteoric rise in European football continues to gather pace, with the Ghanaian defender now firmly in the sights of Premier League side Fulham.
The 24-year-old has made an impressive impact since his move to Swedish club IF Elfsborg from Finland’s SJK Seinajoki in early 2024. His commanding performances in the Allsvenskan have not only solidified Elfsborg’s backline but also caught the attention of top English scouts.
Fulham, according to The Sun, has been monitoring Yegbe closely and sees him as a potential long-term replacement for Nigerian international Calvin Bassey, who is being tipped for a summer exit. Yegbe’s blend of athleticism, tactical intelligence, and consistency makes him an ideal candidate to step into the Premier League.
But the London club is not alone in their admiration. Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, and Sheffield United are also said to be keen on the Ghanaian, underlining his growing reputation across Europe.
Yegbe has already amassed 46 appearances, three goals, and one assist for Elfsborg, quickly becoming a defensive cornerstone for the Swedish outfit. Though under contract until the end of 2028, a move may be on the cards if the right offer arrives.
For the former Ghana U23 star, a switch to England would mark a significant step in an already promising career—a leap into one of the world’s most competitive leagues.
