The Austrian-Ghanaian defender played a part in Spurs’ 2-1 win over Manchester United in the final held in Bilbao, coming on in the final ten minutes to help secure the win after Brennan Johnson’s decisive goal.

Danso, currently on loan from French club RC Lens, joined Tottenham in January with high hopes — and a clear mission: to win silverware. That dream became a reality on a memorable European night as the North London side not only lifted the Europa League trophy but also booked a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
