Brighton & Hove Albion winger Ibrahim Osman has sealed a season-long loan move to AJ Auxerre, offering the Ghanaian forward a fresh opportunity to shine in Ligue 1. The deal includes a €16 million option to buy, should the French side decide to make the move permanent.
Osman, 20, joined Brighton in February 2024 after impressing at FC Nordsjælland, but is yet to fully break into the Premier League side’s plans. He spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, making 32 appearances, scoring four goals and registering three assists. Despite showing potential in the Eredivisie, the Dutch giants declined to trigger his purchase clause.
Now, Auxerre have stepped in, viewing Osman as a dynamic addition to their attacking options. With his pace, flair, and ability to create chances, the club believes he can play a crucial role in their Ligue 1 campaign.
Brighton, meanwhile, will be keeping a close eye on his progress, hoping that consistent minutes in France will elevate the youngster’s game for future success—either back at the Amex or on the European stage.
