Fresh from an incredible debut season on loan — where he netted 37 goals and supplied eight assists to help Galatasaray secure a league and cup double — Osimhen is now being tipped for a role in one of Turkey’s most popular film series.

The Super Eagles star recently met with celebrated comedian Şahan Gökbakar, the creative force behind the hit “Recep İvedik” franchise. During their viral interaction, Gökbakar jokingly asked Osimhen if he would like to act in one of his movies. With a big smile, the striker replied “yes,” to which Gökbakar enthusiastically said, “Of course!”

If the cameo materializes, Osimhen will make history as the first foreign footballer to feature in a Turkish movie while representing Galatasaray — cementing his status as both a football icon and a cultural crossover star.
