Congo striker Gosim Duvan Elenga has fired up his teammates ahead of their decisive Group D fixture against Nigeria at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The highly anticipated clash is scheduled for the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, with kickoff at 6pm Nigeria time.

Barthelemy Ngatsono’s men are still chasing their first victory of the tournament after drawing their opening two matches against Sudan and Senegal. To secure a place in the quarter-finals, the Congolese must defeat Nigeria, who are already out of the competition.

Elenga expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, stressing their determination to achieve their goal.

With a quarter-final berth on the line, Congo are set to give everything against a wounded Nigerian side hoping to salvage pride.
