Bayer 04 Leverkusen have completed the signing of highly-rated Dutch winger Ernest Poku from AZ Alkmaar. The 21-year-old is set to undergo his medical in the coming days before penning a contract that will keep him at the BayArena until 2030.

The move comes after intense efforts from sporting director Simon Rolfes and talent scout Kim Falkenberg, who were both instrumental in securing the deal.
