Newcastle United have struck an agreement with Brentford to sign Congolese forward Yoane Wissa, with a medical scheduled for later today.
The Magpies moved quickly after sanctioning Alexander Isak’s departure, sealing a deal that will see Wissa swap London for St. James’ Park. He becomes one of Eddie Howe’s newest attacking reinforcements, joining Nick Woltemade in bolstering Newcastle’s frontline.
With his pace, direct style, and Premier League experience, Wissa is expected to bring a fresh spark to Newcastle’s attack as the club reshapes its squad for the new campaign.
