Super Eagles Set for High-Profile U.S. Friendlies Against Venezuela and Colombia

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are gearing up for a thrilling international tour in the United States this November as part of their build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Nigeria will first lock horns with Venezuela at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston on Friday, 14 November, setting the stage for a tougher challenge against the formidable Cafeteros of Colombia at Citi Field, New York, on Tuesday, 18 November.

Interestingly, Colombia will also fine-tune their squad with a friendly against New Zealand in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, 15 November, before clashing with the three-time African champions.

For head coach Eric Chelle, these matches are crucial tests as the Super Eagles sharpen their tactics ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho’s Crocodiles and Benin Republic’s Squirrels next month. Fans can expect an exciting showcase of international football as Nigeria measures up against South American flair and resilience.
