The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has cleared AFCON final referee Jean Jacques Ndala after completing a detailed disciplinary investigation into his performance during the tournament’s final match.
In an official statement, CAF announced that its disciplinary jury found no evidence of wrongdoing by the Congolese referee. According to the review findings, Ndala officiated the match in full accordance with the laws of the game and met the high standards required at the top level of African football.
