Ghanaian music heavyweight Stonebwoy is set to thrill fans at the final Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 Fan Zone concert today, Thursday, January 16, 2026, in Rabat, Morocco, bringing the curtain down on the tournament’s cultural celebrations.
The award-winning artiste will share the stage with international stars including Burna Boy and Stormzy, further extending his impressive run of performances at major global sporting events.
Popularly known for hits such as Manodzi, Stonebwoy has previously wowed audiences at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Fan Festival and the closing ceremony of the 13th African Games, earning a reputation as one of Africa’s most consistent and electrifying live performers.
Renowned for his energetic stage presence and ability to attract massive crowds, Stonebwoy has become a regular feature in CAF’s fan engagement programmes. His selection to headline the AFCON 2025 fan zone finale further underlines his growing influence as a global ambassador for African music.
Entry to the concert at the Rabat Fan Zone is free for supporters who possess a Fan ID or a valid match ticket, offering fans a chance to experience the grand finale of AFCON’s cultural showcase.
The concert comes in the aftermath of Morocco’s dramatic semi-final triumph over Nigeria, where the hosts edged the Super Eagles 4–2 on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes. Youssef En-Nesyri converted the winning spot-kick, while missed penalties from Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyemaechi proved decisive.
Attention now turns to the AFCON 2025 final, where Morocco will lock horns with Senegal on Sunday, January 18, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium. Nigeria, meanwhile, will battle Egypt in the third-place playoff on Saturday, January 17, at the Mohammed V Stadium.
