English-born Ghanaian forward Charles Sagoe Jr has completed a loan move from Arsenal to Swedish top-flight side Kalmar FF, with the deal running until January 2027.
The move represents another key stage in the young attacker’s development, marking his third temporary spell away from Arsenal. Sagoe Jr previously gained experience in English football during loan stints with Swansea City and Shrewsbury Town.
Sagoe Jr made his senior competitive debut for Arsenal in 2023, featuring against Brentford in the Carabao Cup—a milestone in his progression through the club’s ranks.
Having joined Arsenal from Fulham at a young age, he signed scholarship terms in 2020 and steadily advanced through the academy. At youth level, Sagoe Jr has been a standout performer for the Gunners, making over 60 appearances for the U21 side this season.
The loan to Kalmar FF is expected to give Sagoe Jr regular first-team football and further opportunities to develop his attacking abilities as he continues his pathway toward becoming a senior regular for Arsenal.
