Four Ghanaian Coaches Head to Wales for UEFA B Licence Training

Four Ghanaian coaches have travelled to Wales to take part in a UEFA B Licence Coaching Course organised by the Football Association of Wales (FAW), under an ongoing technical partnership with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The coaches selected for the programme are Black Galaxies assistant coach Godwin Ashitey Attram, Black Satellites assistant coach Winfred Dormon, national U-15 head coach Fatawu Salifu, and Hearts of Oak assistant coach Abdulai Gazale. The course is scheduled to run from Thursday, January 29 to Friday, February 20, 2026.

The initiative forms part of a wider collaboration between the FAW and the GFA aimed at enhancing coach education, knowledge sharing, and technical exchange. While the FAW is supporting aspects of the programme, the GFA is fully covering the course fees and flight expenses for the participating coaches.

The UEFA B Licence course will expose the coaches to the FAW’s coaching education framework and international best practices, with expectations that the experience will boost technical expertise and contribute to the long-term growth of coaching and youth development in Ghanaian football.
