Burkina Faso international defender Adamo Nagalo has completed a loan move to Turkish Süper Lig side Konyaspor, joining the club from PSV Eindhoven until the end of the 2025–26 season.
The 23-year-old centre-back, a product of Ghana-based Right to Dream Academy, makes the switch before the closure of the January transfer window as he seeks regular first-team football after a difficult spell for minutes at the Philips Stadion.
Nagalo only joined PSV last summer on a five-and-a-half-year contract from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland, but opportunities proved limited during the first half of the campaign. Konyaspor have now moved swiftly to secure his services for the remainder of the season.
Confirming the deal on their official website, the Turkish club stated:
“Konyaspor has signed Burkinabe central defender Adamo Nagalo on loan until the end of the 2025–26 season. Nagalo, who started his football career at the Right to Dream Academy, has previously played for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark and PSV in the Netherlands. He has represented the Burkina Faso national team 20 times and will wear the number 39 jersey for our green and white colours.”
Nagalo, who has earned 20 caps for Burkina Faso’s senior national team, will be hoping the move to Turkey reignites his club career and strengthens his place on the international stage.
